The Training Specialist program is designed to prepare job-ready graduates to design, implement, and deliver organizational development and training programs that result in talent development and organizational performance improvement. As a $350 billion-dollar global industry, there are tremendous employment opportunities in business, industry, health care, government, military, higher education, and other work environments. The curriculum, based on competencies identified by today’s employers and professional associations, is designed to help graduates to develop the requisite knowledge and skills to be successful in today’s organizations. Graduates acquire the knowledge and skills in instructional design and talent development, leadership and team development, communication and management, entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving, web-based technologies, and cultural and diversity awareness that impacts organizational development and training effectiveness.
