Whether satisfying course requirements or seeking professional development, students can get ahead during the summer session at ¹ÏÉñÍø. Registration is now underway for summer studies, with more than 1,500 undergraduate, graduate and professional development courses available on campus and online.

Current students can get a head start on course requirements by taking summer classes to stay on track for graduation. Students who aren't seeking degrees can gain access to ¹ÏÉñÍø's renowned faculty and classes, and students enrolled elsewhere can tackle necessary coursework that gives them an edge when they return to their colleges. Also, incoming students can take advantage of summer to knock out a class or two.

"Summer really offers the perfect time to study at your own pace and make progress toward your goals," said Renee Felts, assistant vice president for continuing education. "With a wide range of courses available and flexible options for online or on campus learning, ¹ÏÉñÍø's summer studies program can be a fit for anyone."

Courses range from introductory-level requirements to higher-level courses within majors, such as "Leadership and Events Management" in communication, "Cyber War" in cybersecurity or "Critical Issues in Public and Community Health Administration" in health sciences. Explore the full catalog .

¹ÏÉñÍø's summer studies program also offers professional development courses for teachers seeking new training and recertifications.

Teachers can enroll in courses focused on literacy, instructional systems and technology integration and characteristics of students in autism spectrum disorders. In library science, educators can learn how to select and integrate literature into the classroom, including a course focused on graphic novels.

With more than 30 years of leadership in online education, ¹ÏÉñÍø also offers flexibility and support for military personnel to take classes from home, at sea or at regional higher education centers.

Summer classes begin as early as May or as late as July, and registration has started; some classes fill quickly, so early registration is recommended. For more information and to enroll, visit the .
