It has been one of the best experiences of my life, not only professionally but also personally.
Question: What is your current job?
I am currently teaching Spanish at White Oak High School in North Carolina.
Question: How has ¹ÏÉñÍø's MA in Applied Linguistics program helped in your career?
Each of the assignments made in the different classes that I took in the program has contributed significantly to the improvement of my personal and professional skills. Undoubtedly, the program is not only a community of practice but also a family which makes each of its members feel empowered and committed to it.
Question: Do you have any favorite memories from the program?
One of the unforgettable life experiences I had during the program was meeting and sharing with my classmates and teachers, who are people with exceptional characteristics and virtues, making the program an invaluable family.
Question: What was your favorite thing about ¹ÏÉñÍø's MA in Applied Linguistics Program?
I loved the multicultural nature of the program since through it I was able to meet incredible people from different parts of the world with whom we shared the same love for languages.
Question: Do you have any advice for grad students interested in applied linguistics, or for students who are currently in the program?
My advice to new applicants and students of the program is to enjoy and make the most of their stay in the program, since it is undoubtedly a lifetime learning experience.
