Dear Colleague,
The purpose of this correspondence is to communicate the eligibility requirements and other details surrounding the state-funded 5% salary increase. This increase is across the board for salaried employees meeting the eligibility requirements; therefore, a merit-based differential is not being applied. The increase is on the state-funded portion of the base salary. Unit heads with faculty and staff in grant/gift funded positions may reallocate existing funds to support salary increases for the portion of salary on non-state funding.
