Two new Open Access agreements have been established through VIVA (Virtual Library of Virginia), adding to the various open access publishing options for ¹ÏÉñÍø authors.
- The IOP (Institute of Physics) agreement includes IOP journals and content from the Electrochemical Society (ECS). American Astronomical Society (AAS) journals are not included in this agreement. Corresponding authors will be able to publish open access without paying article publication charges from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024. All qualifying articles will be identified by IOP Publishing and published by default on an open access basis. "CC BY 4.0" is the standard license. While all fees related to open access on eligible articles are covered, other charges such as page or color charges are not included and will continue to be charged to authors.
- The International Water Association (IWA) agreement is a three-year read and publish agreement that will allow ¹ÏÉñÍø and VIVA corresponding authors to publish journal articles open access at no cost in the following journals: Aqua; Blue-Green Systems; H2Open Journal; Hydrology Research; Journal of Hydroinformatics; Journal of Water and Climate Change; Journal of Water and Health; Journal of Water Reuse and Desalination; Journal of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Development; Water Policy; Water Practice & Technology; Water Quality Research Journal; Water Science & Technology; and, Water Supply.
Other Open Access agreements for ¹ÏÉñÍø corresponding authors are with Cambridge University Press, Wiley, ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), and Rockefeller University Press. Discounts are available for American Chemical Society and American Association for the Advance of Science. More at:
