Users around the world have downloaded works from over three million times. That's nearly a million downloads for last year alone.

Much of our faculty and student scholarship contributes to the growing number of open access materials that benefit researchers and students worldwide. Users from over 230 countries have discovered and made use of ¹ÏÉñÍø's research materials.

But it is not only good for the users. Our researchers benefit by getting higher citation rates, complying with funding mandates, hosting peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and increasing their research impact. An author dashboard helps keep track of how many times and from where the works are being viewed.

Student works include electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), research posters, and articles in OUR Journal (¹ÏÉñÍø Undergraduate Research Journal).

The repository has been a service of the ¹ÏÉñÍø Libraries since 2015. Contact Karen Vaughan kvaughan@odu.edu if you'd like to see your publications get more visibility, if you have other uses for the repository, or if you'd like to learn more. Keep in mind that while many commercial publishers will not allow us to upload their published PDFs, they often will allow your final author submission (or, post-print) to be included.
