Mission & Purpose
-
The Women and Gender Equity Center LGBTQIA+ Initiatives strives to provide students, faculty, staff, and members of the Hampton Roads area a community where they can be free and confident in expressing their identities. OIR strives to reduce homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism in the ¹ÏÉñÍø community through educational and interactive programming, mentorship, and LGBT advocacy.
