Executive Director
Jonna Bobzien, Ph.D., is the executive director of the Center for Implementation and Evaluation of Education Systems (CIEES) at ¹ÏÉñÍø and an associate professor of special education. Dr. Bobzien is a co-primary investigator on two Virginia Department of Education personnel preparation grants; a 325K U.S. Department of Education Grant to prepare teachers to work with students with high needs disabilities; and a 325D U.S. Department of Education grant preparing individuals for leadership roles in adapted physical education. Dr. Bobzien’s research interests include supports for transition-age students with ASD and/or ID, the use of technology-based approaches to learning and coaching, and curricular approaches and quality of life measures for students with significant ID.Ìý

Ann S. Maydosz, Ph.D.
Director of Administration and Operations
Ann Maydosz, Ph.D., has worked in higher education for the last 23 years, focusing on implementing and acquiring grants to support individuals in marginalized groups. She is currently the Director of Administration and Operations at the Center for Implementation and Evaluation of Education Systems (CIEES) at ¹ÏÉñÍø, where she helps to guide a talented staff who provide and support instructional design for adult learners, special education teacher preparation, training and technical assistance, multitiered systems of supports, professional development, recruitment and retention initiatives, and program evaluation.Ìý
