Student Residents Competition
"Battle of the Bins" is brought to you by a partnership program between Housing Residential Life and Facilities Management Recycling Department.
During this time, Residential buildings on campus (under the guidance of their RAs) compete in a month long weigh-in to see how much recyclables they have collected. The recyclable material will be collected every Wednesday of the week.
Accepted materials include paper products like catalogs, junk mail, magazines, cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, glass, and electronics. The contest does not accept food waste. See full Acceptable Materials list for more info.
The contest winner will be determined by taking total weight of recycled materials.
Remember, all you have to do is to simply collect all the recyclable materials from your room and have it ready for collection during the Battle of the Bins. May the best team win!
