Academic Advising

Advising holds become effective either November 1 for registration for the next Spring and Summer semester, or April 1 for the registration for the following Fall.

University policy requires all degree seeking students to be advised.

Your advising hold will be lifted when you meet with an advisor. Please see the Student Success Services platform to confirm your advising assignment as needed.

Your advising hold will be lifted when you attend Monarch Orientation and meet with an advisor at your scheduled session.

First, you must complete the online orientation and register for Monarch Orientation. Your advising hold will be lifted when you attend on-campus Monarch Orientation and meet with an advisor.

If you have 24 credits or more and decide not to attend Monarch Orientation, please complete the New Transfer Student Form to be connected with an advisor.

New ¹ÏÉñÍøGlobal students need first to complete the online orientation.

Then, you will contact your ¹ÏÉñÍøGlobal Student Success Director for an appointment. Your degree plan hold will be lifted when you meet for your advising appointment.
