Dr. Justin A. Haegele is the PI and Director of the Collaboratory of Adapted Physical Education Research, which is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (H325D220005) that supports doctoral training in adapted physical education (2022-2027).
CMHD Doctoral Scholar Lecture
Launched in 2023, the CMHD Doctoral Scholar Lecture is an opportunity for us to celebrate one of our CMHD affiliated doctoral students who is excelling in research focused within the scope of the center. During this lecture, one select scholar will provide an overview of their research open to the DCEPS community. This lecture will take place each Spring semester.

CMHD Research Workshop
Launched in 2023, the CMHD Research Workshop is an annual workshop where leading scholars in the field are invited to ¹ÏÉñÍø by the CMHD to share their scholarly expertise with graduate students within the areas of movement, health, and disability. This workshop is an opportunity for collaboration among scholars and leading researchers in the field. This workshop will take place each Fall semester.
The 2023 CMHD Research Workshop was led by Dr. Anthony Maher, of Leeds Beckett University (UK) and Dr. Sebastian Ruin, of University of Graz (Austria).
