Student Services Centers
The Career and Advising Resource Center (CARC) provides career and academic advising services for students in the Darden College of Education & Professional Studies. Students who visit CARC are encouraged to plan for their academic program and investigate career opportunities through exploration and engagement with an academic advisor.
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is an interdepartmental resource center where students design, collaborate, and extend learning to drive innovative solutions within their field of study.
The Office of Clinical Experiences supports students who want to become teachers as well as the teacher education programs in the College of Arts and Letters, the College of Science, and the Darden College of Education & Professional Studies.
Research & Training Centers
The DCEPS Research Support Center maximizes the impact of scholarly activity by promoting faculty, student and community interdisciplinary relationships, establish platforms and networks to share new knowledge, develop infrastructure for funding development and resource acquisition, and support professional development and mentorship that leads to research excellence.
CMHD is a training and research center engaging in evaluating and understanding health disparities among persons with disabilities and other health conditions, and implementing research-based trainings/programs to enhance well-being among these populations.
A program that focuses on the early care and education of ¹ÏÉñÍø's youngest students while serving as a training facility for our students in early childhood and elementary education.
CIEES is ¹ÏÉñÍø's first center to focus extensive grant funds on the comprehensive improvement of education systems for K-12 students with diverse learning needs, with over $60 million in grant awards.
IIACT’s mission is to advance counseling theories through mini-grants, research, information on counseling theory and healing practices occurring globally, awareness of multicultural issues related to theory, and provide resources, such as books, videos, and websites, to increase knowledge regarding counseling theory from a global perspective.
