The Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center (COVLC) is an online learning platform hosted by the State of Virginia. ¹ÏÉñÍø has a domain on the COVLC that houses online training modules from various ¹ÏÉñÍø departments.

The COVLC requires a unique Login ID and Password.
Go toÌýÌýand login with your credentials. The COVLC Login ID and password are NOT related to your MIDAS ID. New employees are issued these credentials before their New Employee Orientation.

New Employee Trainings

The New Employee Orientation (NEO) is the first step in the process of onboarding new employees to the University. This self-paced online orientation module can be accessed via the Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center (COVLC). NEO includes a hearty welcome to ¹ÏÉñÍø and provides employees with pertinent information regarding the University culture, State and University policies/procedures, as well as an overview of the available benefits options.

New employees will receive by email; their login id, temporary password, and the step-by-step instructions on how to access the NEO.

This online module provides information about the list of benefits available to all new full-time employees, and is also available anytime for current full-time employees to review their benefits.

All new state employees are required to complete the state mandatory training in the COVLCÌý60 days after receiving their login id and password.
